Title: Implementing the Oregon Health Insurance Exchange

Vote to pass a bill that amends certain operations of the Oregon Health Insurance Exchange Corporation (ORHIX).

Highlights:

-Authorizes the ORHIX Corporation to borrow money and provide funding for facilities and operations (Sec. 1).

-Specifies that any money borrowed by the ORHIX corporation or funds granted from the ORHIX corporation do not constitute a pledge of the “full faith and credit” of the State of Oregon (Sec. 1).

-Prohibits the State of Oregon from paying debts incurred by the ORHIX corporation (Sec. 1).
