Vote to pass a bill that prohibits employers from limiting job vacancies to applicants who are currently employed.

Highlights:

• Prohibits an employer from publishing in print or on the Internet an advertisement for a job vacancy that specifies any of the following (Sec. 2):
• Current employment is a qualification for the job;
• The employer will not consider or review an application submitted by an applicant who is currently unemployed; or
• The employer will only consider applications submitted by job applicants who are currently employed.
