Title: Authorizes Casinos

Vote to pass a bill that submits a constitutional amendment to the voters that authorizes casino gambling in Kentucky.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes the establishment of casinos at no more than 7 locations within Kentucky (Sec. 1).
  • Requires casinos that are not located at a horse racing track be at least 60 miles away (Sec. 1).
  • Specifies that state revenue from casino gambling shall be used for, but not limited to, the following purposes (Sec. 1):
    • Job creation;
    • Education; and
    • Support of the horse industry.
