Title: Prohibiting the Use of E-Cigarettes and Hookah Pipes in Public Places
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the use of e-cigarettes and hookah pipes in public places.
-Prohibits the use of e-cigarettes and hookah pipes in public places (Sec. 2 &3)
-Exempts until July 1, 2017 public places that meet the following criteria (Sec. 2, 3 & 5):
-Maintains a class C or D liquor license;
-Only admits individuals 21 years of age or older;
-Only tobacco products that have been bought or sold at the place of public access may be used; or
-Is a retail establishment that sells e-cigarettes.
-Defines “e-cigarette” as any electronic oral device that provides a vapor of nicotine or other substance that simulates smoking through its use or through inhalation of the device (Sec. 1).
