Title: Authorizing the Concealed or Open Possession of Firearms
Vote to pass a bill prohibits local law enforcement from issuing citations for the carrying of open or concealed weapons.
-Prohibits local law enforcement from issuing citations for the carrying of open or concealed firearms, unless the individual carrying the firearm is behaving in a hostile manner (Sec. 3).
-Authorizes a law enforcement officer to question an individual in possession of an open or concealed firearm (Sec. 3).
-Prohibits state entities from enacting or enforcing laws that would limit the otherwise lawful possession of an open or concealed firearm (Sec. 4).
