• Authorizes immunity from civil liability when an occupant of a dwelling causes injury or death of an intruder (Sec. 1).

• Specifies the situation in which the use of force is justified as the following (Sec. 1):
• The intruder has illegally entered the dwelling without the permission of its occupant; 
• The intruder has done or has attempted to do violence to the occupants of the dwelling; and
• The occupant believes they or other occupants are in danger of injury.
