Vote to adopt an amendment to S Amdt 1470 to S 2038 that requires certain federal executive branch employees to publicly report certain financial transactions.
- Requires that the executive branch and independent agency employees who are required to file financial disclosures to also disclose the sale, purchase, or exchange of stocks, bonds, commodities futures, and other securities that exceed $1,000 in value no later than 30 days after the transaction.
- Requires the above financial disclosures to be made publicly available on official websites no later than 30 days after the disclosures are filed.
