Vote to pass a bill that authorizes an individual to possess a loaded weapon in a vehicle.

Highlights:

• Authorizes an individual to possess a loaded shotgun, rifle, or crossbow, in a vehicle when any of the following conditions are met (Sec. 1):
• The individual is on their own property;
• The individual is on private property with written permission from the owner;
• The individual is in a stationary vehicle on private property; or
• The individual is in the process of defense of oneself or another person.

• Specifies that a loaded weapon is considered to be a rifle or shotgun with a cartridge in the chamber or a cocked crossbow with a bolt in it (Sec. 1).
