Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the requirement that all state employees pay association fees.

Highlight:

-Prohibits collective bargaining organizations from requiring state employees who are not members of the association to pay fees as a condition of employment (Sec. 1).


-Requires employees that choose not to pay association fees to relinquish the rights and benefits of being a member of the collective bargaining association (Sec. 1).


-Specifies that the provisions of this act will not apply to current contracts, but will become effective upon the next contract approved by the employee bargaining organization and the state (Sec. 2).
