Title: Recording and Tracking Complaints of Abuse by Transportation Security Agents

Vote to pass a bill that requires law enforcement officers to register and track complaints about Transportation Security Agents searches.
Highlight:
-Requires a law enforcement officer to record all interaction between a citizen and a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent when a citizen registers a complaint about a search, regardless of the officer’s presence at the time of the search (Sec. 1).
-Establishes the “Citizen Complaints About TSA Searches” electronic database under the state police for registering complaints (Sec. 1).
-Permits citizens to record any interaction with a TSA agent, without exception, with any audio or video device (Sec. 1).
-Requires a law enforcement officer to enforce all of the above provisions, or the officer may be guilty of official suppression (Sec. 1).
-Effective 90 days after passage (Sec. 2).
