Title: Prohibits Abortion Coverage through Healthcare Insurance Exchanges
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits payment to any health insurance plan sold through a state health exchange that covers abortion procedures.
-Exempts the following types of abortion procedures from the provisions of this act (Sec. 1):
-Abortions medically necessary to save the life of the woman; and
-Pregnancies resulting from sexual assault or incest.
