Vote to pass a bill that establishes reasonable leave time for pregnant employees or those who recently gave birth.

Highlights:
- Establishes that employers must allow a female employee to take a leave for pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition for no longer than 4 months and thereafter return to work (Sec. 1 & 1.5). - Prohibits an employer from refusing to maintain and pay for health care coverage for an employee who takes authorized pregnancy or childbirth leave (Sec. 1 & 1.5). - Prohibits an employer from refusing to temporarily transfer a pregnant female employee to a less strenuous or hazardous position for the duration of her pregnancy, if requested by the employee and is within reasonable limits of accommodation (Sec. 1&1.5).
