Title: Relating to Unemployment Insurance Benefits
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the payment of extended unemployment benefits and limits state spending to 87 percent of the 2011-2012 budget.
- -The average rate of unemployment, not seasonally adjusted, in North Carolina during the fourth quarter equaled or exceeded 120 percent of the average of the unemployment rates in the fourth quarters of the preceding 3 years and equaled or exceeded 5 percent overall, or total unemployment for the period consisting of the most recent 3 months for which data for all states are published equals or exceeds 6.5 percent; and
-The average rate of total unemployment, seasonally adjusted, in North Carolina during the fourth quarter equals or exceeds 110 percent of the average of the unemployment rates in the fourth quarters of the preceding 3 years.
