Vote to table an amendment to HR 2608 that extends existing appropriations from September 30, 2011 until November 18, 2011, and appropriates $3.65 billion for disaster relief.
Highlight: -Extends existing appropriations from September 30, 2011 to November 18, 2011 (Sec. 106). -Appropriates funds for emergency expenses for the repair of damages caused by the storm and flood events of 2011 as follows (Sec. 125):
- -$3.42 billion to the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and
-$226 million to the Corps of Engineers, Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies division.
