Vote to pass a bill that authorizes non-medical personnel to administer epilepsy medication to students at school in the absence of a licensed physician or trained nurse, upon completion of voluntary training.
Highlights:
-Specifies that medication should be administered by medical personnel whenever possible (Sec. 2).
-Authorizes school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools to provide non-medical employees with voluntary emergency medical training (Sec. 2).
