Vote to pass a bill that that establishes the Texas Congressional Redistricting Commission, with sole authority to create or modify plans for Congressional districts.
- -2 individuals appointed by a majority vote of the members belonging to the majority party in the Texas House of Representatives;
-2 individuals appointed by a majority vote of the members belonging to the minority party in the Texas House of Representatives;
-2 individuals appointed by a majority vote of the members belonging to the majority party in the Texas Senate;
-2 individuals appointed by a majority vote of the members belonging to the minority party in the Texas Senate; and
-1 individual to serve as a nonvoting member and presiding officer of the Commission, appointed by a vote of at least 5 of the other members of the Commission.
