Vote to pass a bill that establishes the Oregon Health Insurance Exchange Corporation as a public corporation, and appropriates funds to the corporation for the purpose of carrying out its duties and functions.

Highlights:

• Defines "Health Insurance Exchange" as an American Health Benefit Exchange run by the Oregon Health Insurance Exchange Corporation (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the duties of the corporation shall include, but are not limited to, the following (Sec. 3):
• Administer a health insurance exchange that is in accordance with federal law;
• Make qualified health plans available to individuals and groups throughout the state;
• Provide individuals, groups, and businesses with information regarding quality, benefits, costs, and any other information regarding health insurance eligibility; and
