Vote to pass a bill that removes some of the restrictions on tobacco smoking in certain areas.

Highlights:

• Extends provisions allowing smoking tobacco to age-restricted stand-alone bars, taverns, and saloons and completely enclosed areas within stand-alone bars, taverns, and saloons in which patrons under 21 years of age are prohibited from entering (Sec. 1).

• Defines "stand-alone bar, tavern, or saloon" as establishments primarily devoted to the sale of alcoholic beverages and in which food service or sales may or may not be incidental (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes tobacco smoking in convention facilities that are organized by tobacco businesses or professional associations of convenience stores and involve the display of tobacco products (Sec. 2).
