Vote to pass a bill that amends the eligibility requirements for candidates seeking the position of Attorney General.

  • Requires all candidates for Attorney General to have been admitted to the state bar for a continuous period of at least 10 years immediately prior to taking office, whereas existing law required that a candidate must have been an attorney in "active practice" for a minimum of 10 years (Sec. 1).
