Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that repeals certain standards for cigar bar ventilation systems and establishes criteria for smoke shop certification with the Oregon Health Authority.
Defines a "smoke shop" as a business certified by the Oregon Health Authority and fulfills the following restrictions (Sec. 1):
Is primarily engaged in the sale of tobacco products and smoking instruments, with at least 75 percent of the gross revenues of the business resulting from such sales;
Prohibits persons under 18 years of age from entering the premises;
Does not offer video lottery games, social gaming or betting on the premises;
Does not sell or offer on-premises consumption of alcoholic beverages; and
Is a stand-alone business with no other businesses or residential property attached to the premises.
