Title: Certification for Smoke Shops
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that repeals certain standards for cigar bar ventilation systems and establishes criteria for smoke shop certification with the Oregon Health Authority.
- -Are primarily engaged in the sale of tobacco products and smoking instruments intended for off-premises consumption or use, with at least 75 percent of the gross revenues of the business resulting from such sales;
-Prohibit individuals less than 18 years of age from entering the premises;
-Do not offer video lottery games, social gaming, or betting on the premises;
-Do not sell, offer or allow on-premises consumption of food or beverages, including alcoholic beverages;
-Are stand-alone businesses with no other business or residential property attached to the premises;
-Have a maximum seating capacity of 4 persons; and
-Allow smoking only for the purpose of sampling tobacco products in order to make retail purchase decisions.
