Highlights:
-Requires the State Department of Fish and Wildlife to recommend rules to the State Fish and Wildlife Commission regarding the creation of a pilot program for select cougar management zones in which dogs may be used to hunt or pursue cougars (Sec. 2).
-Requires all cougar hunters to possess valid permits and tags issued by the State Fish and Wildlife Commission (Sec. 2).
-Limits the annual fee for a permit and tag to $100 for Oregon residents and $300 for non-residents (Sec. 2).
-Specifies that this act will expire on January 2, 2020 (Sec. 5).
