Highlights:

• Specifies that the Constitutional Revision Commission is comprised of the following members:
• The Governor and 3 appointees of their choosing;
• The Speaker of the House and 3 appointees of their choosing; and
• The President Pro Tempore of the Senate and 3 appointees of their choosing.

• Specifies that the schedule for reviewing the constitution is as follows:
• In 2011, Article XII, Private Corporations, Article XIII, Banking, and removing unconstitutional language;
• In 2012, Article III, Distribution of Powers, Article IV, Legislative Department, and Article IX, Representation;
• In 2013, Article I, Declaration of Rights, Article V, Executive Department, and Article XIV, Education; and
• In 2014, Article VII, Impeachments, Article X, Exemptions, and Article XVIII, Miscellaneous.

• Specifies that the Constitutional Revision Commission is responsible for the following:
• Creating public awareness of and educating the public on the recommended changes; and
• Providing each chamber of the legislature with the findings, conclusions, and recommendations for any changes to articles under consideration by the third legislative day of each year after 2011.
