Vote to pass a bill that prohibits state agencies from awarding state funds, or federal funds administered by the state, to any entity that performs abortions, and amends existing statutes relating to abortion procedures.
- -The pregnant woman became pregnant through an act of rape or incest; or
-An abortion is necessary to avert the pregnant woman's death or a substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function.
- -The risk of infection and hemorrhage;
-The potential danger to a subsequent pregnancy;
-The potential danger of infertility;
-That human physical life begins when a human ovum is fertilized by a human sperm;
-The probable gestational age of the fetus at the time the abortion is to be performed;
-A picture or drawing of the fetus;
-That the pregnant woman has the opportunity to view fetal ultrasound imaging and an auscultation of fetal heart tone, if audible;
-Information regarding fetal pain prior to 20 weeks of postfertilization age;
-The fact that medical assistance benefits may be available for prenatal care, childbirth, and neonatal care;
-That the father of the unborn fetus is legally required to assist in the support of the child; and
-That there are physical risks to the pregnant woman in having an abortion, both during and after the abortion procedure.
