Title: Amends the Division of the Florida Supreme Court

Vote to pass a joint resolution that submits a constitutional amendment to the voters that increases the size of the Florida Supreme Court and divides it into civil and criminal divisions.
Increases the number of justices of the Supreme Court from 7 justices to 10 justices, and specifies that 5 justices shall serve in the civil division and the remaining 5 shall serve in the criminal division (Sec. 3).
Specifies that the chief justice of a division of the Supreme Court shall be designated by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate (Sec. 2).
Requires the Supreme Court, upon passage of the constitutional amendment, to rank all of the justices currently in office by seniority in service on the Supreme Court, and specifies that the 3 justices with the most seniority shall be the initial justices assigned to the criminal division, and that the remaining justices shall be the initial justices assigned to the civil division (Sec. 21).
Appropriates 2.25 percent of the total general revenue funds appropriated in the general appropriation bill to the judicial branch (Sec. 20).
