Vote to pass a bill that authorizes individuals to accept or decline health care coverage.
- Authorizes individuals to accept or decline health care coverage without penalty or threat of penalty (Sec. 2).
- Exempts the following from the provisions of this bill (Sec. 2):
- Health care services provided or required by the state, a political subdivision of the state, or a court of the state; and
- A contract right that provides health care services.
