Title: Government Shutdown Prevention Act
Vote to pass a bill that enacts HR 1, a continuing appropriations bill, if the Senate does not pass a measure providing funding for the Federal Government by April 6, 2011.
- Specifies that in the event of a government shutdown, salaries for the President of the United States and for members of Congress shall not be paid for the duration of the shutdown (Sec. 3).
