Highlights:
-Authorizes individuals of 18 to 21 years of age with severe and persistent mental illness to have access to benefits up to a weekly cap of 5 hours, while adults over the age of 21 with severe and persistent mental illness may have access to benefits up to a weekly cap of 4 hours (Sec. 9).
-Prohibits replacing money from the nursing facility assessment fund to the Idaho medical assistance program by the legislature (Sec. 19.)
-Authorizes the money from the nursing facility assessment fund to provide state matching funds for the department Medicaid trustee and benefit expenditures to the extent that a general fund shortfall exists, or as limited by the maximum assessment (Sec. 19).
