Title: Increases Pay for State Employees
Vote to pass a bill that renews and revises guidelines for the payment of state-paid officials and laid-off employees.
- Increases the base salary of each state employee as follows (Sec. 1):
- 1 percent, effective on the first day of the first complete pay period in January 2012; and
- 3 percent, effective on the first day of the first complete pay period in January 2013.
- Increases employer contribution for group benefits from $626 to $733 a month for state employees, members of the legislature, and employees of the Montana university system (Sec. 2).
