Title: Campaign Financing Act
Vote to override a veto of a bill that authorizes legislative leadership to establish and manage an account for their funds.
- - The president of the Senate;
- The speaker of the House of Representatives; or
- The minority leaders of either house of the Legislature.
- - Adopt bylaws to include, at a minimum, the designation of a treasurer;
- Conduct campaigns for candidates who are members of the leader's political party;
- Establish an account; and
- Raise and expend funds as authorized by the leader of the party committee.
- - The name, mailing address, and street address of the committee or electioneering communications organization;
- The names, street addresses, and relationships of affiliated or connected organizations;
- The area, scope, or jurisdiction of the committee or electioneering communications organization.
