  • Establishes the following retirement age and service requirements for a public employee under state general plan 3 or municipal plan 1, 2, 3, and 4 who is retired or a member with 5 or more years of service credit as of July 1, 2011 (Secs. 1-5):
    • 65 years or older with 5 or more years of service credit;
    • 64 years old with 8 or more years of service credit;
    • 63 years old with 11 or more years of service credit;
    • 62 years old with 14 or more years of service credit;
    • 61 years old with 17 or more years of service credit;
    • 60 years old with 20 or more years of service credit; or
    • any age with 25 or more years of service credit.
  • Establishes the following retirement age and service requirements for a public employee under state general plan 3 or municipal plan 1, 2, 3, and 4 who is not a retired member or a member with 5 or more years of service credit as of July 1, 2011 (Secs. 1-5):
    • 67 years or older with 5 or more years of service credit; or
    • 55 years or older if the sum of the member's age and years of service credit equal 80.
