Title: Firearms Omnibus
Vote to pass a bill that limits or prohibits the possession of firearms in a public establishment.
- -The public establishment or public event is a secured facility with controlled access;
-A sign is conspicuously posted prohibiting the possession of firearms at all public entrances;
-The public establishment or public event is equipped with secure firearm lockers that are in reasonable proximity to the main entrance and are under the control of the operator, operator's designated agent, sponsor or sponsor's designated agent.
- -A peace officer or any person summoned by a peace officer to assist and while actually assisting in the performance of official duties;
-Any shooting ranges or shooting events, hunting areas or similar locations or activities.
- -A state or federal certified law enforcement officer or an armed security officer;
-Metal detection, x-ray, screening or other weapon detection equipment.
