Vote to pass a bill that changes the amount of money required to be in a school district's reserve account regarding outstanding bonds.

Highlights:
  • Specifies that the reserve account of a district must be established and maintained in an amount at least equal to the lesser of (Sec. 1):
    • 25 percent for a school district located in a county whose population is 100,000 or more; and
    • 50 percent for a school district located in a county whose population is 100,000 or less.
