Vote to pass a bill that repeals certain provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that pertain to reporting requirements for payments from corporations.

Highlights:
  • Repeals a provision in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that requires corporations to report to the government any payments of $600 or more for various purposes including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 2):
    • Rent;
    • Salaries;
    • Wages; or 
    • Income.
  • Increases the amount that individuals must pay back to the federal government if they received a larger health exchange subsidy than they were entitled to, as follows (Sec. 4):
    • $600 if the individual's household income is less than 200 percent of the federal poverty line;
    • $1,500 if the individual's household income is between 200 and 300 percent of the federal poverty line; and
    • $2,500 if the individual's household income is between 300 and 400 percent of the federal poverty line.
