Vote to pass a bill that establishes a commission to review any and all federal laws and regulations for constitutionality and possible nullification.
Highlights:
-Establishes an 11-member commission to review any and all federal laws and regulations for constitutionality and possible nullification (Sec. 2).
-Authorizes the state and its citizens to refuse to recognize or obey federal laws or regulations that have been nullified by the commission (Sec. 3).
-Requires the legislature to enact all measures necessary to prevent the enforcement of any nullified federal laws or regulations within the boundaries of the state (Sec. 4).
-Specifies that the provisions of this act apply retroactively to all federal laws enacted prior to the effective date of this act (Sec. 9).
