Vote to pass a bill that eliminates corporal punishment as a discipline policy in public schools and school districts.

Highlights:
-Specifies acceptable possible disciplinary sanctions as (Sec. 1):
    -In-school suspension; -School service; or -Suspension or expulsion.
-Authorizes individual schools within a school district to establish a school discipline policy if (Sec. 1):
    -Parents, school personnel, and students are involved in its development; -A public hearing is held in the school prior to its adoption; and -It is approved by the local school board.
