Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the abortion of a "pain-capable unborn child" unless the abortion is necessary to preserve the life of the pregnant woman, or if a continuation of the pregnancy will cause a substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman.

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits abortions on fetuses that can feel pain.
-Defines a "pain-capable unborn child" as a fetus that has reached the gestational age of 22 weeks (Sec. 2).
-Specifies that no person shall perform an abortion or induce an abortion on a pain-capable unborn child unless the abortion is necessary, as documented by 2 physicians, and in the following instances (Sec. 3):
-To preserve the pregnant woman's life; or
-If the continuation of the pregnancy will cause a substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman.
