Vote to pass a bill that reduces the number of members of the State Board of Education from 7 to 4, and transfers certain powers of the Board to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

-Transfers control of the Department of Education from the State Board of Education to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (Sec. 3). -Specifies that the 4 positions are to be filled by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Governor or his or her designee, the Secretary of State or his or her designee, and the Attorney General or his or her designee (Sec. 1). -Specifies that the State Board of Education is the supervisor of instruction and curricula in the Oklahoma public school system (Sec. 3).
