Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the Wyoming pari-mutuel commission to assess and charge a license fee from out-of-state wagering companies and persons.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes the pari-mutuel commission to license, regulate and charge a source-market fee to persons outside of Wyoming who conduct pari-mutuel wagering on simulcast races and who accept wagers from Wyoming residents at out-of-state simulcast facilities (Sec. 1).

    • 75 percent to the live flat track permittees in the state of Wyoming on a number of live days basis;
    • 10 percent to in-state Wyoming simulcast permittees;
    • 10 percent to the breeder award fund; and
    • 5 percent to the pari-mutuel commission for administrative purposes.
