Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the Wyoming pari-mutuel commission to assess and charge a license fee from out-of-state wagering companies and persons.

Highlights:

• Authorizes the pari-mutuel commission to license, regulate and charge a source-market fee to persons outside of Wyoming who conduct pari-mutuel wagering on simulcast races and who accept wagers from Wyoming residents at out-of-state simulcast facilities (Sec. 1).

• Defines "source-market fee" as a license fee assessed by the pari-mutuel commission (Sec. 1).

• Defines "out-of-state simulcast facilities" as a track or other facility, located outside of Wyoming, at which pari-mutuel wagers are placed, accepted or distributed, either in person or electronically, on simulcast races pursuant to proper authorization under the laws of that jurisdiction (Sec. 1).
