Vote to pass a bill authorizing local managers to declare a mandatory evacuation.
Highlights:
-Authorizes the designated incident commander to direct, and if necessary compel, partial or total evacuation of a jurisdiction during a disaster or emergency should the incident commander find it necessary for the preservation of life (Sec. 1).
-Specifies that any person who does not obey an evacuation order is guilty of an infraction (Sec. 1).
