Title: Abolishing Federal Financing of Presidential Election Campaigns
Vote to pass a bill that terminates provisions of the Internal Revenue Code that provide for taxpayer financing of Presidential Election Campaigns after December 31, 2009.
- Requires any amount remaining in the fund after the enactment of this bill to be transferred to the general fund of the Treasury, and to be used only for reducing the deficit (Sec. 1).
