Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes the Secretary of State to develop a pilot program where voting centers are established in three counties. The program allows individuals to vote at any center within their county. The bill also requires any vacancy in a legislative office last held by a person who was not a member of a major political party to be filled by special election and provides that a person whose eligibility to vote is challenged must be given a provisional ballot. Additionally, the bill permits an absentee ballot mailed from overseas to be counted, if it is postmarked by the election date and received before the deadline for counting provisional ballots.
