Title: Campaign Finance Law Amendments

Vote to pass a bill that requires corporations and joint stock companies to receive approval from shareholders and members before making independent expenditures.

Highlights:
-Prohibits any corporation or joint stock company from making an independent expenditure unless it discloses to each shareholder and member the amount and nature of the expenditure at least 30 days before the expenditure is made (Sec. 55B). -Requires a majority of the shareholders or members to consent in writing to the independent expenditure before it is made (Sec. 55B). -Specifies that this amendatory act does not take effect unless the following bills are enacted into law: HB 6182, HB 6183, HB 6185, HB 6186, HB 6187, HB 6188 (Sec. 1).
