Title: Omnibus Tax Bill
Vote to pass a bill that provides certain tax credits and refunds. Allows numerous cities to raise their local sales tax to pay for city projects, subject to voter approval. The bill modifies numerous definitions relating to property taxes, makes various changes to the sales tax exemption process, and modifies various registration and licensing processes. The bill also changes processes for selling and administering bonds, authorizes and extends local development efforts including tax increment financing, and changes administration and distribution of city aid. Additionally, the bill changes the definition of a foreign operating corporation for tax purposes.
