Title: Opt-out for Telephone Directories
Vote to pass a bill that allows telephone service subscribers to opt out of receiving telephone directories.
- -allow any telephone service subscriber to opt out of receiving a telephone directory;
-not deliver a telephone directory to any subscriber who has opted out of delivery until the subscriber requests that delivery be resumed; and
-provide on the front cover of its telephone directory in clear language a telephone number or web address for a subscriber to a submit a request to opt out of delivery of future telephone directories along with a statement that the directory can be recycled.
