Title: Seat Belt Law
Vote to pass a bill that permits police officers to issue citations for seat belt use violations without first observing any other violation. Requires all passengers in a vehicle, regardless of age, to wear a seatbelt. The bill further stipulates that passengers over 15 will receive a $25 citation, if they do not wear a seatbelt and the driver will receive a $25 citation for each passenger under 15 without a seatbelt.
