Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that requires group and individual health insurance policies issued, amended, or renewed on or after July 1, 2011 and before January 1, 2014 to provide coverage for maternity services.

Highlights:
-Specifies that maternity services include the following (Sec. 2):
    -Prenatal care; -Ambulatory care maternity services; -Involuntary complications of pregnancy; -Neonatal care; and -Inpatient hospital maternity care, including labor, delivery and post partum care.
-Allows health insurers that issue, amend, or renew policies on or after July 1, 2011 and that apply a preexisting condition provision, a waiting or affiliation period, or a waivered condition provision to include in such policies an exclusionary period of up to 12 months for maternity services, to the extent permitted under federal law (Sec. 3). -Specifies that group and individual health insurance policies issued, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2014 shall cover maternity services pursuant to Sec. 1302(b) of the federal "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" (Public Law 111-148) (Sec. 2).
