Title: Allowing the Purchasing of Health Insurance Policies Approved in Other States
Vote to pass a bill that permits Georgians to purchase insurance across state lines.
- -Move or reclassify the individual insured under the health insurance coverage from the class such individual is in at the time of issue of the contract based in the health-status related factors of the individual;
-Increase the premiums assessed the individual for such coverage based on a health status-related factor or change of a health status-related factors not defined at the issuance of the policy; or
-Increase premiums assessed the individual for past or prospective claims experience of the insured individual.
