-Prohibits the investment of public funds into direct holdings in a "scrutinized company" beginning July 1, 2010 (Sec. 1). -Defines "scrutinized company" as any company that engages in "scrutinized business operations" that (Sec. 1):
- -Are subject to or liable for sanctions under the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996; and
-Are involved in the maintenance of the company's existing assets or investments in Iran or the deployment of new investments in Iran that meet or exceed the threshold referred to in the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996.
