Title: Voter Identification Requirements
Vote to pass a bill that requires individuals to present an approved form of identification prior to voting. The bill states that if an individual does not have valid identification prior to voting, he or she may vote by an affidavit ballot, which will be examined to determine that the individual is a registered voter in order for that vote to count. The bill also requires the Secretary of State to ensure that instructions for identification requirements of absentee ballots are provided.
